Yma is excited to be part of the Radical Value Alliance Group. RVA enables exceptional, equitable, and sustainable health and care by partnering with organisations, systems, and communities to design, deliver, and scale practical transformation solutions. We're building on our experience of delivering health and care transformation in Wales to provide implementation support to systems across the UK and internationally.
Through Kintsugi International, Prof Sally Lewis brought her world-renowned expertise in value-based healthcare to partner with us to deliver a review of an integrated health service in Wales. With a focus on people, pathways, and populations, she provided strategic input and technical guidance to enable us to apply value-based healthcare methods and demonstrate the impact of the service.
Yma is proud to partner with Streamliners to support the implementation of a national rollout of Community HealthPathways as a single source of clinical guidance across Wales. Our work has enabled stronger relationships between primary and secondary care, facilitated more efficient working via pathway sharing, and provided over 350 shared pathways for clinicians throughout Wales.
We have partnered with NHS Wales Performance & Improvement, alongside Streamliners, to support the national implementation of Community HealthPathways. We have worked with all seven Health Board teams to set up and launch their local sites, design and maintain a world-first pathway sharing by default approach, and engage with both local and national stakeholders throughout this large-scale programme.
We have worked with RVA and the Queen Victoria Hospital in Sussex on a Value Based Healthcare review of the Community Diagnostic Centre model. Yma provided data analysis and reporting support to RVA, the primary contract holders.
Yma have completed an experience based co-design project with Macmillan Cancer Support and Hywel Dda University Health Board on the breast cancer pathway. This work involved extensive qualitative data collection, and thematic analysis followed by facilitation of co-design sessions to create small tests of change to improve the experience of patients on the pathway.
Yma have been working alongside Marie Curie to evaluate their dementia care and respite service in West Glamorgan since 2022. We have provided insight into their service, its impact on patients, carers and the wider system through qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and social return on investment analysis.
